The name Eyimofe Atake rings a bell in legal circles in and outside Nigeria. The highly cerebral Atake didn’t just drop from the skies without traces. As a matter of fact, he is the son of Honourable Justice Franklin Oritse-Mueyiwa Atake, a Judge of the High Court of Mid-western Nigeria (1967-1977), and a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1979-1982).

FOR the returnee ministers, it is welcome back. You are among the chosen men and women from 200million Nigerians to drive the society and prosper it, to manage the nation’s resources and wealth beneficially to create a better life for the population. You are returned for your worthiness, especially the ‘super minister’, Mr. B. R. Fashola. You are all appreciated.

Sango-Ota may not be as big as Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, in terms of landmass or as large as Ijebu Ode or even Sagamu in terms of population. But it is one of the largest contributors to the economy of Ogun State. Sango-Ota has been able to affect the economy of Ogun positively taking the advantage of its proximity to Lagos, the nation’s commercial capital. Whereas Lagos is apparently over populated, people from the various parts of the country continue to troop to the former federal capital on daily basis in search of the proverbial golden fleece. It is therefore not unexpected that residents who are feeling choked in Lagos are relocating to neighbouring towns. Sango-Ota is among the neighbouring towns. And it is not only residents that are relocating from Lagos to Sango-Ota.

The phenomenon of rivalry among sibling manifests itself in more forms than one. The failure to acknowledge Mary’s motherhood is one of the most evident manifestations of the sibling rivalries.
