The Honourable Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has awarded high marks to Nigerians for their creativity. The high marks came at the on-going African Arts & Craft exhibition on Friday, after the minister toured the AFAC pavilion in the company of Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita, head of Service of the Federation; Mrs. Grace Isu-Igekpe, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information & Culture, and other dignitaries.

Ogun State, on Wednesday September 6, took the first shot among the states scheduled to take a day each to celebrate their states with arts and cultural performances at the on-going African Arts and Crafts Expo 2017 taking place at the Abuja Arts & Craft Village.

Besides arts and cultural products, the beauties of Nigerians are on display at the on-going 2017 edition of the African Arts and Craft Expo (AFAC). Both local and international tourists are trooping the Abuja Arts and Craft Village, venue of the event, strolling from one pavilion to another, buying art products and taking pictures of beautiful people of Nigeria adorned in rich cultural outfits.

Miss Edna Ocholi is promoting the Gbagyi cultural outfit at the 2017 African Arts & Craft Expo. Gbagyi or Gbari is the name and the language of Gbari ethnic group occupying Central Nigeria. It has a population of about 15 million people.
