The global software giant, Microsoft has launched Windows Phone 7, as part of its latest attempt to break into the smartphone market.

As cloud computing continue to gain dominance in the IT lexicon, Microsoft said it has stolen a march on its competitors as its main proponent, making accessibility of applications through the internet rather than desktop computers and servers become increasingly closer.

Nokia mobile solutions and MTN Nigeria said they are partnering on a new messaging solution on the new Nokia C3. The phone amongst other features, offers instant messaging to its users.
