NAAE ask FG to hasten clearance of navigational equipment
The National Association of Air Traffic Engineers, NAAE, has called on government to expedite the clearance of Aeronautical Information Service equipment at the Lagos wharf to allow installation and take off of the automation of AIS project . This is just as the body has decried the absence of spare parts for equipment across the airports in the country. Speaking at the occasion marking the 33rd NAAE day celebrations in Lagos, the National President of NAAE Engr Ebenezer Makanjuola said “AIS automation ought to have started long ago but due to bureaucracy in the system. We are appealing to Government to expedite action on the AIS project.”
