Although extreme sexuality has been promoted in previous seasons, with short hemlines, plunging necklines and cut out form fitting designs, the season is currently taking attention away from the clothes and focusing instead on the wearer.

As shoes continue to trample over clothes, so are designers getting very creative with what they do as wearers continue to crave for extreme shoes. This season, designers are drawing inspiration from the talaria, or winged sandal, in their quest to take shoes from mere footwear to wearable art pieces.
