Some Lagos residents on Tuesday urged the governor-elect in the state, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and incoming lawmakers to make welfare of the people their priority when they assume office.

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Chief Akin Oke, on Wednesday said his party may challenge the victory of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state.

Lagos State Alliance for Democracy, AD, governorship candidate in the just-concluded elections, Chief  Owolabi Salis has rejected the results, alleging that All Progressives Congress, APC, colluded with workers of the Independent national Electoral Commission, INEC, manipulate votes.

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has attributed the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the March 9 State Assembly election, to the collective effort of his party, the APC and people’s power.
