Ahead of the fresh poll ordered by the Court of Appeal in Delta State, it is a full-blown battle between the forces loyal to Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and those of the Ijaw leader, Chief Edwin Clark.

The Delta North Senatorial District otherwise called Anioma holds the key to whoever wins the fresh election ordered by the Appeal Court which sacked the governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, saying his election was fraudulent. With nine local government areas and a firm decision not to field any candidate in the governorship poll, Anioma is open for the political gladiators in the state.

Dr Sule Hamman, political associate of former military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari and Deputy Chairman, Board of Trustees of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, in this encounter answers questions on the political alliance of 32 opposition political parties which includes his party, the CPC.

General Ibrahim Haruna, the Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, in this encounter says that the search for consensus presidential candidate of the PDP from the North and the alliance of presidential aspirants like Buhari, Ribadu and Shekarau should not be treated as a Northern issue or be used to heat up the North. Rather, he dismisses them as internal democracies within political parties and not a northern agenda.

Few months from now, precisely five months away Nigerians would be on the march again to elect thousands of men and women to occupy various political offices at both the Federal and State levels, for four years thereafter.
