Echoes of the recent Bauchi South Senatorial by-election have resounded with the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Isa Yuguda putting the loss of his former home base to what he described as election irregularities perpetrated by the authorities.

The immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has formally announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has welcomed as good riddance to bad rubbish, the exit of its former chairman, Mr. Moshood Salvador saying that his new friends in the All Progressives Congress, APC will soon discover him to be a merchant of falsehood.

Senator Osinachukwu Ideozu, Rivers West, has put political actors in Rivers State on suspense after failing to carry through his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC as had been widely reported across the state.

Akwa Ibom supporters of  the second term aspiration of Governor Udom Emmanuel based in Lagos took their support to the streets of the nation’s capital over the weekend. The supporters under the aegis of different support groups engaged themselves in what was styled as a 5,000 Man March for Governor Emmanuel during which the recent defection of Emmanuel’s predecessor became a talking point. The groups comprising All Akwa Ibom Indigenes in Lagos for Udom 2019; Non-stop Integrity Group; Mboho Ndito Akwa Ibom, Lagos; The Pace Setters Organisation; Zenith Friends International and Green Light 4 Udom.
