On 28 June 2024, Nigeria signed the Samoa Agreement at the Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States OACPS Secretariat in Brussels, Belgium.

THE Edo State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Tony Aziegbemi has said that the court ruling over the party’s governorship primary election has not removed Asue Ighodalo as the governorship candidate of the party contrary to what is being peddled.

The PDP’s primary election was nullified by the court in a judgement that was delivered by Justice Inyang Ekwo on Thursday.
