The Centre for Infrastructure, Policy, Regulation and Advancement (CIPRA) at Lagos Business School, and the Infrastructure Concession and Regulatory Commission (ICRC), today in Lagos signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between CIPRA and ICRC.

After a keenly contested software competition involving 17 schools from Nigerian tertiary institutions last week at the African knowledge city, Tinapa, Calabar, Cross River state, two software innovators from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State won the 2012 national software Innovation competition organized for students in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

At the open door event held Tuesday in Lagos, the software giant, Microsoft unveiled Windows 8, a wide range of apps available on more than 1000 Windows 8 certified PCs and tablets to its customers and partners in Nigeria.

For many manufacturers of Airconditioners in Nigeria, lack of skilled local based personnel and unstable power supply are the bane of growth of the sector. However, LG Electronics appears to have crossed that huddle with the introduction of what it called superior and high technological applications in the manufacture of its latest series of airconditioners.

Airtel Nigeria has attributed flooding and attacks on its installations to the poor network services experienced recently. It said attacks on its 53 installations have disrupted operations in 193 sites across the Northern part of Nigeria.
