More than 1,000 sick pilgrims still in Makkah hospitals
More than 1,000 pilgrims are still confined to a number of hospitals in Makkah for treatment of various ailments, Health Ministry’s spokesman Faisal Al-Zahrani said. He said the patients include some pilgrims who were injured in the crane crash in the Grand Mosque on Sept. 11 and others who sustained injuries during the Mina stampede.

As investigation continues on the fire that engulfed parts of Baitul-Futuh Mosque in London, two suspects have been nabbed – a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy. Both have since remained in custody at a south London police station. According to a reliable source, The fire started from the ground floor and through to the first floor of the building without affecting the mosque on the first floor.
