The Muslim community in Alausa secretariat, Ikeja have expressed high level of disappointment with Governor Babatunde Fashola led administration over the demolition of mosques within the secretariat.

Yesterday, another history was made towards bringing all members of the Al-Fathiu Quareeb Family under one umbrella. The Board of Trustees led by Alhaji Abdul-Mumin Olayiwola Adegoke said at a press conference held at Ladi Lawal NUJ Press Center, Ikeja, that it was ready to unite all aggrieved members of the society as one big family just as a new certificate issued by the CAC for the Societywas displayed to the members of press present at the briefing.

Islam lets the Muslim understand the fact that worldly problems do not affect his religion. It therefore cannot lead to violation of Shariah. It is for a little period of time and are nothing but a passing illusion that will soon be replaced with the permanent pleasure in the hereafter.

Suicide is giving end to life. But does a person entitled to end his own life? Did Allah, who granted him the life and flesh give him permission to destroy his life by committing suicide? Do you have the permission to terminate your own life let alone other’s?

“Whoever works righteousness — whether male or female — while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)” {al-Nahl 16:97}
