The Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima has inaugurated the 5th board of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) urging the members to bring their wealth of experience to bear by introducing innovative ideas to develop hajj operations in Nigeria.

Mothers have been advised to set their priorities right and consider good parenting as the bedrock of stable and developed society.

The statement said the entire write-up  was fabricated by an unscrupulous clique who had been wowed by the  unprecedented achievements of the avid Islamic scholar and successful legal practitioner, while he held sway at NAHCON.

“In furtherance of our objectives, we acquired a 1.5 hectares (36 plots) of land in the Ajiran area of the Lekki peninsula in 2002 where we hope to build a 500-student capacity boarding school.”

“An Imam should be a representative of Prophet Muhammad. (s.a.w) They are supposed to be a role model, but unfortunately, there are those who do not adhere to the teachings and practice of Prophet Muhammad.”

“Hassan is a man who never looks back in doing what is right even when he knows that will not make him popular to some. Sometimes, choosing to do what is popular to some may be at variance to the conscience and truth. You are always on the side of truth.”

The Governor of Nasssrawa State, Ahmed Sule, has commended the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria for her contributions to humanity in the areas of education, health care, and peaceful propagation of Islam.

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Europe chapter has appointed Ijeoma Mercy Seidlitz as Ambassador of the Council in Sweden, just as the council called for more youth inclusion at all levels of governance.

He said, “Some two or three years ago, around this time, you would have seen different commercials on air, with different companies telling you to come and perform hajj with them, irrespective of their registered status or not. Due to the new policy, however, the trend is coming down.”

“Many of society’s challenges came as a result of the collapse of the family or marriage breakdown. If you see some children who have taken to drugs, it is because the family has collapsed. There can hardly be successful parenting without successful coupling.”
