By Dayo Adesulu The Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Integrated Network and Education, Mrs. Nkiru Adesogan has called on Nigerian students aspiring to further their education overseas to aim at getting the best universities abroad.

They should teach their children their native language, cook their native food and reduce over exposure to foreign cultures”, She advised.

The Vice Chancellor, who spoke in an address read on his behalf by the institution’s Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor L. B Kolawole at the 13th RUN Family Forum said that through the “actions of the students involved in the case, damage was done to the reputation of the university and appropriate disciplinary action has taken against the students concerned.”

By Bose Adebayo IF  their resigned expression is anything to go by, words alone cannot describe their ordeal these past two days. Indeed most of them were shocked speechless by this unexpected travail.

In the past, the university system used to enjoy peace, stability, uninterrupted academic calendar, without disruption as duration of programmes and time of graduation are certain. That is what the private universities are bringing back today.
