Ramadan stirs the power of will, true intention and decision to overcome the ordinance of the mind, and to withstand pains and difficulties with patience and hope in Allah

The month of blessings, honour, grace, power, guidance is here. Ramadan, the month like no other is here again. It is another opportunity, immeasurable grace for blessings, spiritual rebirth, rejuvenation and nearness to Allah.

THE Lagos State Secretariat Community Central Mosque, Ikeja, Lagos, has inaugurated an 11-member branch Executive Committee for the newly commissioned Shamsi Adisa Thomas (SAT) Mosque, Old Secretariat, Ikeja.

Mr Adedapo Conde, Executive Director, Pyramid Education Advancement Foundation, PEA, has said that the best way to liberate and remove darkness in the minds of younger generations especially in local communities was to equip them with books and a conducive environment for learning. He said this at the launch of Agbado Ijaiye Primary School library donated by his foundation.

The need for students to be abreast with world happenings and critically evaluate information in the era of social media formed the one-day seminar on World Press Day organised by Vokeseel primary school in Lagos.
