Operatives at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS Ikeja Lagos, have arrested two brothers and their friend for sending a threat message to a proprietress of a school in Igando area of Lagos, pretending to have been hired to kill her.

A 31- year- old man Chinedu Nwuruku, was Wednesday, arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, for allegedly assaulting three police men. The suspect was said to have conspired with some soldiers who were fully armed and abducted the policemen to Bonny Camp in Victoria Island. The accused who is facing a five- count charge: conspiracy, stealing, assault and false information by the police, was docked before Magistrate Abimbola Oshodi-Makanju.

A Lagos Magistrate’s Court sitting in Ikeja, has ordered that Olasunkanmi Are-Ago,20, Dolapo Olowu 38, and Ochuko Adeniji,33, be remanded in prison custody over alleged terrorism and threat to kill. The defendants according to Magistrate Margaret Dan-Oni, are expected to remain in prison custody pending the legal advice from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP. The trio were charged to court by the police on a three-count charge of conspiracy,threat,threat to kill and terrorism.
