THERE have been several cases of kidnapping across the country in recent time. These range from the kidnapping of expatriates, business moguls, bankers and even school children and members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm.

Tragedy struck again at the Ojota area of Lagos State in the early hours of yesterday, when an articulated truck carrying a container fell on a Hyundai Jeep crushing the sole occupant to death.

TWO days after the Monday, January 31 murder of Mrs. Nonye Doris Okere allegedly by a policeman at Mpape, Abuja, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Hafiz Ringim, directed that a criminal suit be instituted against the suspect.
