A number of Christian worshippers on their way to Kafanchan in Kaduna State were abducted on Friday. Responding to inquires, Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kaduna State, Rev (Dr) John Joseph Hayab, confirmed the abduction, adding that eight Christians were taken. 

Tragedy struck in the early hours of Saturday, when fire gutted seven vehicles on Otedola Bridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. It could not be confirmed if there were casualties, but the Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed the incident.
