NLC 2015: We can’t discuss alleged betrayal of private sector unions —Omar

Moves by some aggrieved private sector unions to bring the alleged betrayal of private sector by the public public sector, on the floor of Tuesday’s meeting of the National Executive Council, NEC, of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, hit the rocks.

Labour Vanguard gathered that the aggrieved private sector unions had petitioned the NEC and the petition was circulated to NEC members by the petitioners at the the meeting.

Mr. Adelakun called on the Lagos State Government to pay more attention to the plight of pensioners who retired from Local government, Parastatals and so on whose gratuity and arrears of increment in their pension since 2006, had not been paid to date.
