Provost, Federal College of Education, FCE, Okene, Kogi state, Prof. Iyela Ajayi has charged the academic staff of the institution to intensify their efforts in research work in other to give the institution a virile and sound academic standing. The Provost also call on the students to utilize the academic potential abound in the college to create a better and comfortable future for themselves.

The Don stated that the university produced 9 MSC graduates with degree in architecture from the college of post graduate studies . 13 graduands in first class division 113 in second class upper division , 119 in second class lower division , with 41 in third class.

In recognition of the strategic importance of basic education as a catalyst for overall economic growth and long term improvement of life and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Red Star Express Plc has awarded scholarship to indigent students of Unity Grammar School and Mafoluku Grammar School.

“I studied at Don Bosco Technical Institute Akure and finished in 2009. I went on to The Polytechnic Owo where I graduated with Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Electronics. After my industrial training, I sat down to think of the next step to take using the knowledge I had acquired from the technical school and the polytechnic. I came up with this device, Automatic change-over device,”said Emmanuel.

ON Tuesday 6th of October, the Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP) conferred on me its coveted Award of Excellence during the NIP 38th Annual Conference held at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye. In my acceptance speech, I had occasion to reflect on one of my heroes, the renowned Nobel Laureate and mathematical physicist, Albert Einstein and his influence on my intellectual development.
