DAYS after two rival factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, engaged themselves in a bloody clash at the Ijebu-Ode motor park, many residents of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State, are still counting their losses, especially families who lost dear ones or had their property destroyed in the mayhem.

The Ogun State Commissioner for Eduction, Science and Technology, Olusegun Odubela, has disclosed that the State government would soon form a joint national inspection of schools with the Federal Inspectorate of Education in the state.

MANY Lagosians obviously had not bought the assurances from officials of the Lagos State government and militant Yoruba socio-cultural group, the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, that Lagos is safe from Boko Haram-sponsored bomb attacks.

The seaman identified as Harry was reported to have murdered the rating identified as Itoya over allegation of infidelity.

It has become a tale of woes in Cross River State following ravaging flood that has rendered several families in the state homeless and turned them refugees in their own fatherland.
