THE Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), has articulated new measures targeted at achieving the sustainable development of gas, power and related sectors of the nation’s economy.

A Chinese mining giant, Jin Bao Rong Group of Companies, said it is commencing exploration and mining operations soon in the Nigerian mining sector based on improved business environment.

The Chairman/Managing Director of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), Mr. Jeff Ewing, has called for the development of Nigeria’s gas infrastructure, stating that it would help in the drive for the diversification of the economy and boost the country’s export revenue.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Gas and Energy Services, LLC, Mr. Emmanuel Anyaeto, has disclosed that Nigeria spends about $11 billion on the importation of petrochemical related products annually.
