Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday, unfolded plans by the fledgling All Progressive Congress, APC to salvage the country, saying that President Goodluck Jonathan was serving the country a salad of corruption and leading the country on the path of retrogression.

The Presidency, yesterday, reacted to the assertion by former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu that Nigeria under President Goodluck Jonathan is a ‘sinking ship’. It said that Ribadu is an ingrate considering what the Jonathan administration did for him on his return from self-imposed exile.

THE United States Government, through its Embassy in Lagos, has cautioned the Federal Government to improve on its ports security system within 90 days or face the stoppage of sail of vessels to Nigeria.

The row over the alleged disruption of the flight of Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State by an aviation agency yesterday deepened as the state government said the incident endangered the governor’s life.

It called for a panel of inquiry to investigate the incident.
