War of letters: Obasanjo attacked again!

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, came under a fresh attack from the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-west, Chief Buruji Kashamu, who described him as a hypocrite.
Kashamu spoke in response to a letter purported written to the National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, by Obasanjo alleging that the leadership of the party in the South-west is now in the hand of a drug baron.

Alleged Training of Snipers: NHRC holds emergency meeting over OBJ’s letter

With the polity still rumbling over the exchange of letters between President Goodluck Jonathan and his predecessor, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, will meet next week. The meeting is to consider the request by the Federal Government for it to investigate the allegation by Obasanjo that President Jonathan was training snipers and had placed 1000 political opponents on his watch list.
