Imoke said President Umaru Yar’Adua could be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize if the amnesty deal succeeded, adding that they had no wish to play politics with the issue.

President Yar’Adua who gave the assurance at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, shortly before he departed for Brazil on a state visit said he had directed the security chiefs to launch a special operation, particularly in Borno State, to contain the situation.
