Israel said Wednesday it supported US President Donald Trump’s decision to suspend his bombing of Iran, but maintained the 11th-hour ceasefire did not include Lebanon.

The Democratic Republic of Congo has said it will take in foreigners deported from the United States under a deal with Washington, which also wants access to Congolese mineral wealth.

“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

“The Revolutionary Guards once again declare that if the American terrorist army crosses the red lines, our response will go beyond the region,” the statement said.

“Restoring damaged energy assets to full capacity is both costly and takes a long time, thereby affecting overall supply availability,” the countries said in a joint statement after an online meeting.
