Before the ailment, Terry lived in Lagos and was the Operations Director of Roots Night Club in Ikeja. Known for his nonconformist stand on issues, especially in areas that concern welfare of the Nigerian musician, Terry was taken to Nsukka after tests failed to reveal the nature of sickness that was gradually eating up the once bubbling musician.
