Patoranking’s confession: ‘Music saved me from becoming a criminal’

Reggae act, Patoranking dropped a bombshell during the week revealing that he would have become a criminal but for music. The reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter made this revelation while, speaking at a media parley organized by MTV Base. According to him, music saved him from becoming a criminal, ‘The slum is not a place that gives many options. There, it was either you make it the right way or the crime way but I chose music and it has worked for me’ he said.

AGN: Ibinabo appeals judgement, gets support of practitioners

A few hours after the judgment of Justice James Tsoho of the Federal High Court, Lagos, nullified the election of the first female president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberisima, she had stormed the Court of Appeal, Lagos to challenge the said ruling.
