A veteran Nollywood actor, Peter Bunor, reportedly died on Friday in Asaba, Delta, according to his son, Peter Bunor Jnr.

The multiple-Grammy Award winning artiste has released a statement on her website, MsLaurynHill.com, explaining reasons why she and her entourage (the MLH band and Production Team) couldn’t be in Lagos for the May Day Live concert.

And everyone who thronged the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, venue of the “2Kings” concert featuring scions of Afrobeat king, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Femi Kuti and Seun Kuti readily went home with the feeling that the legend lives on. The Kuti brothers literally brought back the evergreen memories of the late Afrobeat king on stage.

I was never married but I was involved in a marriage process which got truncated along the line. Marriage begins with paying the woman’s dowry, traditional and white wedding. All these did not take place. My family didn’t support marrying a man who kept one woman in one place and plans keeping another one in another place.
