Edo: Philip Shuaibu, the running mate of APC candidate, Godwin Obaseki, has just cast his vote at Ward 11 unit 5, Etsako West local government of Edo state.

Edo Election: Accreditation and voting commenced in most units in Oredo, Ikpoba Okhai and Egor at about 8:30.

Edo: Situation report from Ipkoba local Government area of Edo shows that both accreditation and voting are simultaneously ongoing at ward 06, polling unit 053. Eligible voters are seen in queues eager to decide the fate of their future aspiring leaders.

Voting has commenced in Polling unit 04, ward 09 at Uhiele Primary school in Esan West Local Government Area at exactly 8.03 am in the September 28 Governorship election in Edo state.

Edo: The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has alleged that the All Progressive Congress, APC, in connivance with some staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, have written fake results for nine local government areas in the state in order to manipulate the gubernatorial elections in Edo. This is contained in a statement signed by the Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye and made available to newsmen.

The major contenders in the ongoing governorship election in Edo State, Godwin Obaseki of All Progressives Congress, APC and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have taken their campaign battle to the social media.
