AFTER weeks of controversies over whether or not the Land Use Act should be removed from the constitution, delegates yesterday resolved to retain the law after some amendments

DELEGATES disagreed sharply yesterday on how the outcome of the National Conference should be implemented. They bickered over whether or not their decisions should be sent to the National Assembly for consideration or subjected to the approval of Nigerians through a referendum.

50 first class traditional rulers, leaders, stakeholders, elders from Osun State have written the Chairman, National Conference, Justice Idris Kutigi and the leadership to demand the inclusion of Oduduwa State as an additional state to those to be created from the South West geo- political zone of the country.
