Joyful Homes

It’s time to move forward, by Funmi Komolafe

Brethren, let’s thank God for a new day.  For us, it should be a time to move forward. Moving forward means moving from the point you are now to a new point.  Indeed a new status. It also means, it is time to make up your mind to shift from stagnation to motion. It could […]

Prepare for a joyful home

Greetings in the name of Jesus. Today’s edition slightly shifts focus from our usual focus but not exactly unrelated.

Give to the needy

Brethren as we move close to the end of the year, our prayer is that we end this year rejoicing.    We all   wish to celebrate the Christmas and New Year joyfully.  By the grace of God when it is time for celebration, we shall not be six feet below in the name of Jesus.  We shall be alive to give thanks to the Almighty God.

Let God speak to you

Brethren, I congratulate you for moving on in the ember months.   It is obvious that we are gradually moving to the end of the year.  My prayer for you is that the end of this year would be more glorious for you than the beginning in Jesus name.

You need His armour to overcome

The journey of life is a struggle. It has its ups and downs.  Often times, life does not give to us what we desire on a platter of gold.   Human efforts must be put in place  to achieve our goals.  However, human efforts are not just enough because  they are limited.

Freedom from the forces of darkness

Ephesians 6 vs. 12 KJV “ For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.

Claim your right to light

Brethren, we often hear about deliverance, what exactly does it mean?  Without reference to any dictionary, as Christians, familiar with the word ‘deliverance’, it simply tells us that someone who needs deliverance is someone under the bondage of the enemy. Someone who is oppressed.  Anybody whose  destiny  is held down or controlled by  the forces of darkness.

How much of the Word is in you?

We give God all the glory for his mercy.  He has been so good to us.  Our first testimony is that we are alive.

You can recover all

In the next couple of days, we should be moving to the end of September, while many are singing new songs of joy, others are waiting to celebrate and be celebrated.

It’s to cry for Mercy

Gradually, we are moving into the last three months of the year. Some have had all their prayers answered, some have had some answered yet for others they are still hopeful.

Resist temptation, God is able

He is able, abundantly, able to deliver and to save, He is able, abundantly able to deliver those who trust in Him”.   These are the lyrics of a popular Christian song. But to what extent do we put these words into practice?

It’s a season of fruitfulness

As you move closer to God, the Lord will glorify himself in your life and the Lord will put your enemies to shame

Forgive and claim your breakthrough

Many have caused their homes to be broken because of inability to forgive. Some children have gone to the extent of snuffing life out of their parents because of failure to forgive

Back up your faith with obedience

Note the word “ diligently”.  The adverb qualifies the word diligent, which my simple dictionary tells me is “ quietly and steadily persevering   especially in detail or exactness”.
