Confessing Christ before men

By Femi Aribisala Jesus says: “Everyone who confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32-33). How exactly do we confess Christ? Confessing and denying Many Christians take […]

DADDY G.O.

I once listened to the testimony of Pastor E.A. Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He stated that his last child, a baby-boy, quickly became his favourite child. But one day, the child fell sick. The more Adeboye prayed, the worse the boy became. In desperation, he asked God: “Why won’t you heal my son?” The Lord replied: “Because he is your son, I won’t heal him.” Therefore, Adeboye quickly changed his line of prayer. He declared that the boy was God’s son and asked God to heal him. When he did this, the boy was healed

There was always something missing; always something out of place. But I knew that one day; I would build a house that would put all other houses to shame.

Babalawo Pastors

Bishop David Oyedepo says poverty is not of God. He insists a child of God has no business being poor and declares: “There’s a proven covenant cure for poverty.” If this were true and proven, all the world’s poor would have become rich Christians by now.

Money Is Not Valuable

A woman brought an alabaster jar of very costly perfume and poured it all on Jesus. Jesus’ disciples were indignant, asking: “Why this waste? This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” (Matthew 26:8-9). But ultimately, perfume is meant to be used. Even if it is sold, the person who buys it would still “waste it” by using it.
