My name is Femi Aribisala. You may know me as the writer of these articles of faith. What you may not know, however, is that I am a great man. Indeed, I am greater than Prophet Isaiah. I am greater than Jeremiah and Ezekiel. I am greater than Elijah and Elisha. As a matter of fact, I am greater than all the Old Testament prophets.

I am 60 years old but have never ever bought a car for myself. It was not for lack of money. Before God made me close down all my businesses in one day in 2005, I made a lot of money. However, the Lord controlled the purse-strings and spent all the money for me. I did not get any permission to buy a car or even build a house for myself. Nevertheless, I was allowed to buy cars for others no less than six times.

At university, I was a student of Philosophy. You had to be, if you studied Political Science. I therefore find it highly amusing that, in a discussion about the existence of God, Douglas Anele tries to dazzle me by dropping the names of philosophers like David Hume, Immanuel Kant, and Bertrand Russell.

Jesus healed one leper. Just as his adversaries were trying to decide how to handle this, he then healed ten lepers, all in one go. He hit the ball straight into the court of the Jewish religious establishment. Would they be honest enough to acknowledge to Israel that he is the long awaited Messiah?

The message of the birth of Christ was first brought to mere shepherds, sleeping out of doors. “Then the angel said to them, Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’” (Luke 2:10-11)

I wish I had been there as a fly on the wall at the time of Jesus. You had to be there to understand the excitement; the pandemonium Jesus caused among the pastors, bishops and popes of the day. You can cause no greater excitement than by doing the impossible. That is precisely what Jesus did.

Did the wicked pastors, bishops and general overseers who conspired to have Jesus crucified really know he is the Messiah?  Yes they did.  Would they in their right minds dare to kill the son of God?  Yes they would

Jesus says the kingdom of heaven is like putting yeast in a large portion of dough. (Matthew 13:33).  While pastors with limited understanding of kingdom dynamics see this yeast as beneficial on the grounds that it is designed to promote the rapid numerical growth of the church; those with better insight see it as spiritually counter-productive precisely because it leads to the exponential growth of the church

The modern Christian church, with its mega-pastors and highfalutin cathedrals, is nothing but a counterfeit of the true church of Christ

JESUS’ teaching reveals that God has made a sovereign decision not to know the heirs of salvation beforehand. He knows few will be saved but refuses to know who will be saved.
