FOLLOWING the move by the federal government to reform the oil and gas industry, operators and stakeholders in the downstream sector have called for an increased funding of the sector in order to increase the nation’s aggregate output.

Following the sacking of its Management and injection of fresh funds into its operations by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Intercontinental Bank Plc has called on its debtors to settle their obligations to the bank so as to enable the bank beef up its liquidity position.

THE drop in power generation following vandalism of the Escravos-Lagos Pipeline conveying gas to most of the power generating plants in the country have worsened load-shedding (power supply rationing) – leaving customers of the power utility company without supply.
