Custodian nets N1.5bn profit in 2008

Custodian & Allied In surance Plc have announced a profit after tax of over N1.5 billion in its 2008 financial results. This is contained in its current annual reports released last week at the Annual General meeting. Of the total net profit, about N840million or 17kobo per share was paid out as dividend to shareholders.

PTDF gets N15bn to upgrade National College of Petroleum Studies

ABUJA -THE Petroleum Technology Development Fund has announced that it has received an approval of about N15 billion for the upgrade of facilities at the 16-year-old National College of Petroleum Studies in Kaduna, Kaduna State.
The Federal Executive Council had recently approved the sum for contract awards by the PTDF for the project, which upon completion would be renamed as the Institute for Petroleum Policy and Strategy.

Shell to supply 45m cubic feet of gas to Aba power plant
