The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is currently briefing stakeholders on the reasons behind the postponement of the 2019 general elections by one week.

Following rumours that it has postponed the General election scheduled for Saturday, February 16th, 2019, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has spoken on the issues.

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently addressing the nation, about 48 hours to the general election, as Nigerians prepare to go to polls on Saturday, 16th February.

As the 2019 general elections approach, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, took out time to teach and demonstrate how to properly handle ones ballot paper after voting.
