Rivers election: As early as 8.am, voters trooped out en mass across the various polling units in Rivers state to exercise their franchise in the state’s re-run election.

Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has strongly said that he has a lot of evidence that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the police have made plots to rig the coming re-run election in the state. Wike alleged that the police has deployed some officers to intimidate voters in the state, part of the ploy to rig the elections.

Three pro-Biafra agitators, Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, who are standing trial alongside the Director of Radio Biafra and Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, have Thursday vehemently told the operatives of the Department of state Services, DSS, that they are not Nigerians but Biafrans.
