Organizers, celebrities and prominent fashion designers are finally set for this year’s edition of Genesis Fashion Show 2017 [GFS] tagged ‘Identity’

In a bid to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with Albinism, Onome Akinlolu Majaro Foundation, OAM, and Ada Ossai Production weekend released a movie titled “Beyond the Complexion”, a film designed to change people’s perception about Nigerians living with albinism.

Following the alarming rate at which Nigerian girls and particularly, Edo girls are steadily being trafficked as sex workers in Italy and across Europe, popular film maker, Lancelot Imasuen, has offered to help the state government to tackle the prevailing social ill, saying ‘the antics of the traffickers must be exposed to the people.’

All is now set for the 12th  edition of The Future Awards Africa 2017.  Themed ‘Nigeria’s New Tribe’, the 2017 edition seeks to acknowledge inspiring young people making a difference through social enterprise, social good, and innovation.  The event will hold today at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.
