EU, USA condemn violence voter intimidation, suppression during March 18 elections

The Unites States Embassy in Nigeria and the European Union Election Observation Mission in Nigeria have condemned in its entirety the spate of violence, voter intimidation and suppression that marred the Saturday March 18 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections in Lagos, Kano and other states.

The EU Observation Mission on Monday faulted the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for failing to live up to the expectations in Nigeria’s electoral process.
