The fallout from the state council elections, in which the national leadership of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, has been accused of attempting to impose preferred candidates on some state councils, has taken a new twist.

Iran’s top negotiator, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, has said Teheran would not accept any agreement ending its conflict with the US unless there was certainty that the Iranian people’s rights were secured, Reuters reported, citing state media.
