CSOs demand disclosure of JBS MoU, warn against environmental, social risks

Civil society organisations, (CSOs), and other stakeholders have called on the Federal Government to make public the Memorandum of Understanding, (MoU), reportedly signed with Brazilian meat-processing giant, JBS S.A., saying access to the agreement is critical to assessing the environmental, economic and social implications of the company’s proposed investment in Nigeria.
