Ishaaq Onalo targets smarter security solutions in UK

By Nnasom David

Ishaaq Onalo, a technology professional based in Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, has outlined plans to contribute to the advancement of predictive threat intelligence and data-driven security solutions in the UK technology sector.

Onalo said his focus would be on developing open-access data pipelines and spatial risk algorithms aimed at improving security planning for public safety and enterprise environments.

He explained that his long-term vision involves creating integrated threat-modelling frameworks that combine Geographic Information System (GIS) spatial analysis with real-time data monitoring to help local authorities, venue operators and technology firms identify potential security vulnerabilities before incidents occur.

Onalo also plans to collaborate with academic research institutions and technology hubs in the UK to promote the use of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and spatial analytics in incident response systems.

As part of his proposed contributions, he said he would support the development of emerging security analysts through mentorship programmes and workshops focused on the application of Python and SQL in intelligence analysis.

Onalo, who has experience in technical leadership and operational security practices, said his work would focus on strengthening urban threat modelling, improving data-driven security policies and supporting digital safety initiatives.

“The future of threat intelligence lies in predictive precision,” Onalo said. “My commitment in the United Kingdom is to build scalable, data-driven security frameworks that protect both digital assets and physical communities.”
