Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has suspended his Commissioner for Works (Highway and Urban Roads) Hon. Izeze Rume Reuben indefinitely. 

Secretary to the state government Dr Kingsley Emu in a statement said the suspension was to enable security operatives conduct unhindered investigations into the allegations linking him with the fierce attack on the Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the governor, Mr. Simon Mudi aka (Temple) at a recent political event of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Petroleum Training Institute, PTI, Effurun, Delta state.

Unconfirmed report said the commissioner has been in police custody before his indefinite suspension.
