Developers unveil 16 Alexander Tower in Ikoyi

…say property guarantees safety, long term investment security

The developers of 16 Alexander Tower in Ikoyi, Lagos, have highlighted the 21-floor luxury high-rise as a secure long-term investment built to strict international safety and structural standards. Slated for completion by December 2027, the project features 54 high-end residential units and advanced structural features.

Located on Alexander Avenue, Old Ikoyi, Lagos, the edifice which has 21 floors comprising 54 luxury apartments (two and three bedrooms, duplexes, and penthouses), has Cappa and D’Alberto as the main contractor.

M. I. Okoro & Associates, a firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers is the Marketing and Real Estate Agent on the project.

Amenities and safety protocols as well recreational facilities in the sprawling projec include sixth-floor wellness clubhouse, infinity pool, sauna, spa, gym, and squash court.

The luxury apartments building has parking space for158 cars from ground floor to the third floor. Safety systems in the massive structure include inbuilt automated fire-dousing systems, soundproof glass, and strict high-rise engineering compliance.

All these were revealed at the weekend during the inspection tour of the project site by property writers organised by M.I. Okoro & Associates.

Briefing journalists on the project after the inspection tour, Chief M. I. Okoro, Principal Partner, M. I. & Associates, said prospective investors and residents that the 21-storey luxury property is being constructed in line with global safety and structural standards.

Speaking during a facility tour and media briefing, the project’s Marketing and Real Estate Agent, M. I. Okoro who added that the development is designed to guarantee structural integrity, safety and long-term investment value, said reputable firms, including Cappa and D’Alberto Plc as the main contractor, were engaged to execute the project, alongside specialist companies handling the architectural design, piling, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.

According to him, the project which is currently at the 17th floor, is expected to be completed on or before 31st December, 2027, pointing out that the tower will feature world-class facilities, including an infinity pool, gymnasium, spa, squash court, concierge services, twenty-four-hour security and one hundred and fifty-eight parking spaces, with two allocated to each apartment and additional spaces for visitors’ cars.

Reacting to journalists’ questions, the project manager, Mr Prabal Chakrabarti, said all approved construction, certification and safety protocols for high-rise buildings are being strictly followed according to requirements by approving authorities in order to ensure a safe and world-class development.

Explaining some of the special features in the apartments during inspection tour, Engr. Akin Ayankoya, of Contemporary Design Associates, and sub-contractor on the project said the luxury tower will has soundproof glass, ocean views, a children’s playground, automatic fire sprinklers, split air-conditioning systems and a bar.

Engr. Ayankoya added that the development will offer two, three, four and five-bedroom apartments, providing residents with modern luxury living in one of Lagos’ prime locations.
