Why I’m supporting Senator Adeola for Ogun governorship – Kasali

By Adesina Wahab

A political and youth leader, Prince Temitope Kasali, has described Senator Solomon Adeola as the best person to occupy the governorship seat of Ogun State come next year, saying as a lawmaker Adeola has distinguished himself as a lover of people and somebody who cares about the welfare of others.

Kasali, who said he stands in solidarity with the Senator who is the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in the 2027 elections, charged Ogun people to invest in the New Ogun they crave from by voting massively for Adeola during the poll.

In a statement he endorsed, he emphasised the need to make the right choice and decision in voting for the next governor of the state.

“The destiny of a people is not determined by chance, but by the wisdom of the choices they make when history presents them with an opportunity..

“As Ogun State prepares for the 2027 elections, we are once again presented with the responsibility of choosing the kind of future we want for our state. Elections should never be driven by emotions or empty promises alone; they should be guided by competence, integrity, vision, and a proven commitment to public service.

“It is from this conviction that I stand in support of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) as the next Governor of Ogun State. To me, this is not merely a political endorsement but a belief that the future of our state should be entrusted to capable leadership with a clear vision for development.

“Supporting Senator Adeola is, in my opinion, an investment in the New Ogun we all desire.

“Leadership earns respect through service.

Over the years, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola has built a reputation as a dedicated public servant with a record of legislative experience, accessibility, and commitment to the welfare of the people. His contributions to education, youth empowerment, infrastructure, healthcare, and community development have strengthened the confidence many people have in his leadership.

“These achievements demonstrate that leadership is best measured by results and positive impact on people’s lives. True leadership goes beyond elections and political slogans. It is about bringing people together, inspiring hope, making difficult decisions in the public interest, and creating opportunities for future generations.

“I believe Ogun State deserves leadership that combines experience with innovation, humility with courage, and vision with the ability to deliver measurable results.”

He added that Adeola would build on the achievements of the current governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, adding, “I also believe that His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun still has valuable experience to offer. In my opinion, his representation of Ogun East Senatorial District in the Senate would ensure continuity in service and strengthen Ogun State’s voice at the national level. Together, this combination represents continuity, stability, experience, and progressive governance.”

He called on people of voting age to go and register as voters in the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise.
