Sublime Industries Limited has been honoured with the prestigious Golden Star Award for Impactful Business Ventures in West Africa, a continental recognition celebrating the company’s outstanding contributions to business innovation, sustainable enterprise development, and economic empowerment across the region.

The award, which is being conferred by the Security Watch Africa Initiatives (SWAI) Network, will be officially presented during the 19th Africa Security Watch Conference & Awards, scheduled to hold from July 20 to 24, 2026, at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre in Banjul, The Gambia.

The announcement was contained in an official notification addressed to Chief Kelvin Jombo Onumah, stating that the honour followed an extensive assessment conducted by the SWAI Network’s Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, and the 2025 International Awards Panel of Judges.

According to the organizers, Sublime Industries Limited was selected in recognition of its remarkable achievements in business innovation, strategic growth, and sustainable enterprise development.

The 19th Africa Security Watch Conference & Awards is expected to attract high-profile participants, including government officials, captains of industry, policymakers, diplomats, security experts, and business leaders from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Liberia, Kenya, The Gambia, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Namibia, Morocco, Mozambique, and several other countries.

This year’s conference is being organized in partnership with Stellenbosch University, South Africa, further reinforcing its status as one of the continent’s foremost platforms for promoting excellence in leadership, security, governance, and business development.
