AKURE — Member representing Ilaje-Ese-Odo Federal Constituency, Hon. Donald Kimikanbo Ojogo, has expressed appreciation to residents of Arogbo Kingdom for the reception organised in his honour following his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The homecoming attracted APC members, party leaders and supporters, who gathered in Arogbo to celebrate Ojogo’s emergence at the party’s primary.
Supporters at the event also expressed support for the APC and President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
Addressing the gathering, Ojogo described the reception as a call to greater service and thanked the people for their confidence in him.
He pledged to continue pursuing development projects for the constituency and urged residents to remain united and committed to the APC.
As part of the visit, the lawmaker paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Ruler of Arogbo Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Barrister Zaccheaus Doubra Egbunu, the Agadagba of Arogbo Kingdom.
Ojogo said he remained committed to promoting peace, unity and development across Arogbo Kingdom and the Ilaje-Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
He also urged party members to remain focused ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing his emergence as the party’s candidate as the beginning of a broader electoral campaign.
