​Following the successful opening of its physical flagship bookstore in May 2026, literary brand SBA Reads has announced the upcoming rollout of its digital application, set to launch this June. The new platform is designed to make high-quality literature easily accessible to readers across Nigeria and beyond.

​The SBA Reads App will serve as a clean, user-friendly digital ecosystem, built to complement the physical bookstore and provide a seamless interface for readers to explore, purchase and engage with their favourite books from anywhere around the world.

​One of the standout features integrated into the platform is its AI-powered audiobook technology, designed specifically to support creators. This feature allows authors to make their books available in audio format without spending hours in a traditional recording studio. By utilising a short voice sample, the technology converts written text into a professionally narrated audiobook in the author’s own voice, making audio publishing significantly easier, faster, and more accessible.

​In a digital landscape where the rights of creators are paramount, the SBA Reads App prioritises a fair and transparent distribution network. The platform operates strictly as a licensed distributor, ensuring that all intellectual property and digital rights remain securely and entirely with the authors.
