An environmentalist , Bishop Ojumude Tosan , has emerged the candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for the Warri Federal Constituency, Delta state , in next year’s general election.
Ojumude , thanked party faithful, supporters, and constituents for the trust, reaffirming his commitment to pursue legislative reforms centered on ethnic inclusion, Indigenous peoples’ rights, environmental justice, and the advancement of marginalized minority communities if elected into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.
“It is time to make laws that ensure genuine ethnic inclusion in governance and promote Indigenous peoples’ rights, and make marginalized minority communities enjoy priority attention in national development and political representation “, he said.
” I have been at the forefront of campaign for people-focused representation, sustainable development, youth empowerment, environmental protection, and fair governance that accommodates the interests and aspirations of every community within the constituency “, he said.
